This page answers the questions that come up most often about Interim. If yours is not here: app@goswami.de. General matters are on the support page, data handling in the privacy policy.
Best written from inside the app: Settings → Contact. App version, iOS version and device are then already in the message.
Under Settings → Schedule you can pick 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD (23:1) and 5:2. There is also a custom window for any other split — 14:10, for instance.
A change takes effect with your next fast. A running timer keeps the window it started with, so your streak is not re-scored retroactively.
Not a problem — entries can be added and corrected afterwards. Tap the day in question in your history and adjust start and end. Streak and statistics are recalculated from there.
First check in your history whether that day really has a completed entry — a timer that is still running only counts once it ends. Adding the missing entry restores the streak.
Interim absorbs the occasional single gap on its own, so one forgotten day does not undo everything. Several days in a row do end the streak.
Both need to be switched on under Settings → Live Activity & Widget. In addition, Live Activities must be allowed for Interim in the iOS settings under Notifications → Live Activities.
When they are redrawn is decided by iOS, not by the app — after a change it can take a moment for the value to catch up.
Under Settings → Reminders: when your fast starts, when the eating window opens, at a time of your choosing for eating, and a daily bit of motivation in the morning. Each can be turned off individually.
If nothing arrives, permission for notifications is usually missing: iOS Settings → Notifications → Interim. Reminders are scheduled locally on the device; there are no push servers.
Interim reads body weight from Apple Health — read-only, and only the last 90 days. You can connect it under Settings → Apple Health.
If the curve stays empty, check in the Health app under Data Access & Devices → Interim whether "Weight" is actually shared, and whether Health holds any measurements at all. Interim never writes anything back to Health. Without that permission the app works fully, just without the weight history.
Under Settings → Language the app can be set to English or German independently of the system. Date and number formats only follow on the next app launch — that is a quirk of iOS, not a bug. The time format and whether the week starts on Monday or Sunday are adjustable too.
Under Settings → Data → Delete all data you remove fasting times, history and streak for good. There is no copy on a server that could be restored. Removing the app from your device removes the data with it; nothing from Interim is left behind in Apple Health.
No. There is a voluntary tip — one-off, no subscription, and it unlocks nothing. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
